We often are marveling of how beautiful is someone writing, how the letters are evenly spaced and nicely laid on the paper and then take a look at our own writing and we sigh resigned because we do not have a worthy calligraphy to be appreciated.
Although parents and our teachers struggled to teach us how to write good, however, we did not think then that the way we do the letters might say something about our personality, about mood and temper. We never thought that writing – no matter how beautiful or difficult to decipher may be – it could be an open window to the soul. And perhaps we have not even thought that there are people who have as a job the interpretation of handwriting. They are graphologists and the science concerned with the analysis of the letters by hand is called graphology. Here are some aspects that they take into account when analyzes a text.
The Inclination of Letters
Pay attention to the direction of writing to analyze the emotional response of the person.
A slight tilt to the right is a hint of a wild attitude and self-confidence, of relaxation in the midst of the people, of assertiveness, occasional insensitivity and lack of tact. But overall, it means a positive approach to life.
Left tilting of letters denote that the person thinks before acting, he likes to be left on their own, feels uncomfortable in crowds and social gatherings and probably had a troubled childhood. This person controls his feelings and not show them too often.
One whose writing is straight, with no tilt to the left or right, is a good “actor” and they can easily hide emotions that manifest their retention and is more of an observer than a participant. Because this person is not too impulsive, is extremely reliable and consistent.
Although this is rare, a person whose handwriting is a mixture of slopes, when to left when to right is a confusing, unpredictable, inconsistent and ambiguous person. Finds it difficult to make decisions and may have doubts regarding his own identity.
Linking Words
The way people connect letters in a word talks about judgment and their intellectual faculties.
When the letters of a word are joined in a consistently way shows a logical and orderly thinking, the fact that these people use their imagination more than experience, they are consistent in their work.
On the other hand when the letters of a word are free, unbound from each other, demonstrate a strong intuition, original thinking, spontaneity and creativity.
Writing Rows
A person’s character and his state of mind have a substantial influence on how rows develops written on a page.
A straight and continuous row may mean that the person is cold and calm, firm, confident and owner on himself.
A row of waves, when up, when down, may designate an impetuous person , instinctive, spontaneous, temperamental and unpredictable.
A row that from start to finish follows a line below may indicate a lack of energy, pessimism, skepticism and fatigue.
A row facing up can mean that the person is cheerful, strong and full of hope.
The Signature
For most of us a signature is nothing more than a few letters written twisty to be more difficult to replicate but for the experts all tangles of letters can reveal the true personality of a person. The way someone writes his name is an indication of his personal life, and the way in which is writing his name talks about his social life about business transactions and on other social obligations. A signature in which each letter is legible, capital letters are approximately twice or three times higher than the lower and indents on “t” and other lines are pointing up, usually indicates a simple person, optimistic that feels comfortable at social gatherings is self assured, friendly and reliable.
Here are Other Interpretations of the Signature:
When first name is not very readable, it means either that the person is trying to hide, either that he can not see himself separated from family .
When last name can not be easily deciphered the signer can hide his personal approach to business or formal activities. The person may feel the need to assert himself separated from the family.
If first or last name are hidden can also mean that the signer did not like it.
When the uppercase of every name is short or equal to the other letters may be referred to the lack of confidence of the signatory.
If the uppercase of any name is very high – say four times higher than the rest – may indicate a dominant character or selfish.
