Popping Pimples Fatal Habit?

October 8, 2013

pimples

We’ve all been, are or will go through adolescence, the most “prolific” period in pimples occurrence could, hardly refrain not to pop (dermatologists advise us all) because, ultimately, this bad habit can even be fatal.

Popping pimples leave scars or worse, even infections. When you pop a pimple, in fact, make a hole in the skin and enter without you want, bacteria from hands in the open wound. Bacteria can infect the skin and may leave behind a scar, says “Huffington Post”. In fact, your face is a “triangle of death” because an infection in the face area can cause death. How? Well, the blood vessels in the area “flow” on the back of the head, at base of the brain. This area is connected and sinuses. Any sinus infection, if not treated immediately, it can become very serious and can cause paralysis, blindness and even death. This is one very good reason to stop touching pimples.

Veins around the nose, mouth and eyes are very close to the brain, so that bacteria entering the skin of the face have “powers” unmeasured and free access to the brain. A cut finger is not as dangerous.

What other dangers lurk us.
What else should you avoid? Do not pluck nose hair. The nose is full of dangerous bacteria that are trapped between tiny hairs called cilia. These cilia are there to prevent bacteria to enter the body and more so, in fact, a nose “hairy” (on the inside) is the best defense against infection. Of course, if these cilia begin to overcome barriers nostrils should be shortened, by cutting not pulled. Another tip on the nose: do not “pick” at all. Finger in the nose can enter the same bacteria that can penetrate the skin by squeezing pimples.

If you can, try and take some simple precautions:
– Keep nose clean – if you need to get anything out of them, use a handkerchief;
– Do not squeeze pimples or do not break wounds bark that you may have on the face;
– If you see any signs of infection, consult a doctor.
The best advice for having a clean and healthy face is to not touch it, says “Huffington Post”.
