The singer Pharrell Williams signed a contract with Adidas to create its own collection in collaboration with Bionic Yarn designers brand products.
“Working with a legendary brand like Adidas is an incredible opportunity. (…) Their products are ageless. It’s a great partnership for me and Bionic Yarn” Pharrell Williams said in a statement. Adidas Originals collection will be on sale in this early summer.
The hip hop singer, nominated for an Oscar for the song “Happy” has also had other collaborations with brands of clothes and sporting goods. He recently launched a line of t-shirts for Japanese retailer Uniqlo and a line of jeans for company G-Star Raw in partnership with the company Bionic Yarn that promotes environmentally friendly products.
Besides all this Pharrell Williams has his own collection of clothing, Billionaire Boys Club, distributed in stores with the same name.
Adidas is recognized for its partnerships with celebrities from the world of music, the rapper Kanye West and R & B singer Rita Ora being among the latest celebrities who have worked with the German company.
Pharrell Williams is a producer, performer and composer and became known with the release of the duo ’’The Neptunes’’, with Chad Hugo. He is the lead singer and drummer of the group N.E.R.D., which he founded it along with Chad Hugo and his childhood friend Shay Haley. Pharrell Williams noted collaborations with other famous artists such as Snoop Dogg, Britney Spears, Madonna, Justin Timberlake, Daft Punk and Robin Thicke.
